Dave Matthews “Whiskey” beats out Eminem!

Ending Eminem’s run of two weeks at no. 1,the Dave Matthew’s Band hopped into the top spot on the charts. “Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King” is the bands fifth studio album to debut at #1.
DMB dedicated this album to their saxophonist LeRoi Moore who passed away last August. “GrooGrux King” was LeRoi Moore’s nickname in the band. LeRoi Moore died from complications resorting from a ATV crash on his farm in Charlottesville, VA.
“Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King” sold 424,000 for the week ending Sunday.U2 is the only other band to have sold more in it’s first week release with 484,00 for their album “No Line on the Horizon”.
Being a DMB fan, I was quite saddened to hear the news. I am sure his spirit will live on in the DMB’s music.
