Did Rihanna Break The Law?

Last night in NYC, Rihanna must have been feeling generous because at the East Side Ink Tattoo Parlor, she gave 3 of the tattoo artists tattoos of an umbrella with an “R’ on it. That all sounds cool and all but it might be just a bit illegal.
New York city has strict laws regarding tattoos and you need to have a license to administer any tattoos. Rihanna could face three misdemeanors charges and possibly a hefty find. $300 for the first offense, $500 for the second and $1,000 for the third.
According to sources for TMZ, the police department will be sending someone down to the tattoo parlor to look into this further.

It seems like a case of another celebrity thinking they are above the law and can do what they want. Don’t get me wrong though, I am a fan of her music. I just feel there should be no “special” treatment for celebrities.
