The New Green Lantern is Ryan Reynolds

After many a wild rumor on who was going to star as the Green Lantern in Warner Bros.’ live-action film based on the DC Comics hero, the role goes to Ryan Reynolds.

Reynolds is no stranger to the Marvel comic world. He played Deadpool in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”; and vampire hunter Hannibal King in Blade: Trinity.

I usually check out all the comic turned movies that hit the theaters. And in my experience they are always usually hit or miss. I’ll admit I know nothing about the Green Lantern. Guess I’ll have to catch up on my comic hero history before I head to the big screen.
