Harry Potter sets global record

Well looks like the latest installment of the Harry Potter movie franchise, Half Blood Prince, has broken global records.

It’s record making number is $396.7 million in global box office over its five-day opening weekend. It made $159.7 million in the U.S. and $237 million in international gross across 84 markets.

It beat the record set by Spiderman 3 of $381.7 million in 2007.

Man this movie is gonna make a killing. I wonder how much the last two in the franchise are gonna make?
