Eastwick Canceled

So yesterday I wrote about Dollhouse getting canceled and now learn that one of my favorite new shows Eastwick has got the axe too and I’m mad. So is executive producer of the show Maggie Friedman!

In an article at EW she says:

“I’m pretty furious, too,” vents executive producer Maggie Friedman. “We have such an amazing group of writers and actors — best people I’ve ever worked with. None of us can believe this is really happening.”

As of now ABC is planning to air the 13 episodes that are already filmed, but since the show has been canceled we won’t get to see closure in the final episode.

“We’re smack in the middle of several insanely juicy stories,” Friedman sighs. “And so we do not get a chance to wrap things up in a bow. Which is killing me.”

I can’t believe this. First Dollhouse now Eastwick. I’m running out of stuff to watch on TV.
