Katherine Heigl saving Chihuahuas

Katherine Heigl is a champion for animals.

Katherine’s foundation, Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, supports animal rescue efforts and offered $25,000 to fly 25 chihuahuas to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua of New Hampshire for adoption. The pups were in danger of being euthanized if they were not found a new place to go.

That is amazing. A huge animal lover myself, we have over 20 pets, I’m so happy Katherine stepped in and saved their lives.

Way to go Katherine! I love seeing celebrities using their money and fame for something good!!
