New Author Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff is adding author to her list of achievements.

The book is titled Elixir. It is a young adult novel which will be released in October through Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing.

It will share the adventures of photojournalist Clea Raymond, according to the AP. Clea’s got a gift – her photography leads her to a place where she can prevent tragedies before they occur!

Hil will also reportedly write a nonfiction book about kids coping with divorce based on her own experiences – expect the book to be on shelves in 2012!
