Disney Dumps Chronicles Of Narnia
Diney has decided to drop the Chronicles of Narnia. The third movie, Voyage of the Dawn Treader and all of the ones which would have followed will not be made because of “budgetary and logistical reasons”. The movie was predicted to cost $200 million.
I think its wrong for Diney to start recreating C.S. Lewis’ series and to not finish it. They earned over $700 million on the first movie and $400 million on the second. Why cant they spend $200 million on the third? My mum was devastated when i told her because Voyage of the Dawn Treader was her foavourite book/movie. I’m sure other people are miffed about this like me. and my mum.
new moon: Changes from the book? spoilers
To make the New Moon movie slightly different and less predictable, details have been twigged from the book and changed. I’ve been diving into research to find out about the changes.
1. the book: Bella hears Edward’s voice when ever she does something, stupid, life risking or something which cause adrenaline, she hears Edward’s voice in her head telling her to stop.
the movie: There are still voices, but hallucinations too! Robert Pattinson gets a bit more action when Bella hallucinates and hears Edward!
2. the book: When Bella manages to find edwards meadow she meets an unexpected guest. Laurant. Thirsty laraunt is about to attack bella when five huge wolves come rushing out of the trees. Laurant runs for his life and bela never sees him again.
the movie: In the movie we will get to see the action as Laurant fights back against the humongous wolves!
3. the book: In the book Edward says he will turn bella into a vampire if she agreed to marry him before-hand.but…
the movie: Edwards offers her a different ultimatum but i wont spoil all the surprise for you.
My Sisters Keeper
My Sisters Keeper was the first Jodi Picoult book i ever read and i thouroghly enjoyed it, so i have decided to give you a brief of the new movie based on the best-selling novel.
My sisters keeper is about how a normal family can struggle through life when something changes.
Sara (cameron Diaz) and brian fitzergerald (jason patric) lead a average family lifestyle with their son and their 2-month old daughter, kate. but, hapiness turns to termoil when the family is informed that kate has leukemia. in a desoerate atempt to save kate’s life sara and Brian ane willing to go to extraordinary lengths. to save kate they must concieve another child specifically intended to save kate. Anna.
Kate (sofia vassilieva) and Anna (abigail breslin) have a relationship much more stronger then other sisterhoods. in their younger years kate and anna undergo many medical procedures. Sara has to quit her job as a school teacher to lookafter the two sisters. overr the years the attention brought to Kate and anna Slowly pushes Jesse (Evan ellinsan), their brother, out of the limelight.
But, when Anna Turns 11 she says no. wanting medical emancipation, anna hires her own lawyer (alec baldwin), initiating a court case which splits the family, which leaves kates dying body in the hands of fate.
The book was amazing and i am hoping the movie lives up to the book. The movie is in theaters now.
Review: The Hangover
The Hangover is a hilarious new comedy movie. set in Las Vegas, it is based on the Drunken Adventures of a Stag Night in Sin City. After waking up with a Live tiger in they’re bathroom, a crying baby in their closet and a boxer in their living room, the stags need to piece their night together to get their groom to the wedding in time.
this unbearably hilarious movie, starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galiflanakus, will have you laughing so badly you wont be able to remeber what you were laughing about after youd finished your giggling fit!
Favourite part: When everyone had just woken up to the mayhem!!
Worst Part: there wasnt one!!
Funniest part: the whole thing had me laughing my head off!
i would give this movie 5 stars!!
Michael Jackson’s Death: over doing it a little bit
I know Michael Jackson was loved by a lot of people and his music touched even more but I don’t know why everyone’s making such a big deal over his death.
It’s never a good thing when someone dies but I think the reaction to the tragic news was a bit over doing it.
All I have heard all day is Michael Jackson songs being played on the radio and music channels. Michael Jacksons death allover the news.
But what people need to understand is that these things happen people are born, people live and people die, but he wasn’t the only one that died. Why is he getting all the attention when probably over about 10,000 other people died yesterday. Why don’t any of them get a special mention on the news, or a tribute song played for them on the radio? Because they aren’t famous? Well that’s not exactly fair is it?
I just don’t understand how this has caused so much grief for one person when about 10,00 others die every day. I just don’t understand.
