Katharine McPhee has landed the lead in a new NBC pilot called The Pink House.

Here is some info on the show from THR:

The project centers on Midwesterners John “Fitz” Fitzgerald and Rob “Bernie” Burnett who move to L.A. and rent a house right on the beach, determined to find jobs they actually love and make the most of their twenties.

McPhee will play Emily, a down-to-earth Midwest girl new to Manhattan Beach who lives in an apartment behind the guy’s house and works as a pharmaceutical rep. Her shape is perfectly normal and healthy but puts Emily in a line-up of way-too-thin cliche California beach bunnies.

Does it sound like a show you would watch?

The cast includes Pamela Anderson, Buzz Aldrin, Pavelka, Kate Gosselin, Evan Lysacek, Erin Andrews, P Nicole Scherzinger, Chad Ochocinco, Shannen Doherty, Aiden Turner and Niecy Nash.

I don’t normally watch this show, but I love Niecy and Shannen so I just my tune in this season.

William Shatner is set to star in a new pilot on CBS called S— My Dad Says.

The story is based on a Twitter feed by Justin Halpern, a 29-year-old who moved back in with his parents and documented the comments his 73-year-old dad made throughout the day. Justin co-wrote the script for the pilot!

William, 78, will play Justin’s father in the pilot.

Sounds entertaining.

According to an article at the EW Ugly Betty was been canceled.

This will be the shows last season and it has been cut from 22 to 20 episodes.

I don’t watch this particular show so I can’t put in my two cents on whether it is deserved or a travesty!!!

Tyra Banks has announced she will be having a plus-sized Teen modeling competition.

To enter you must be between 13 and 19 years old, a size 12-20 and 5’9″ or taller.

The new season will have a two-night season premiere that will air Tuesday and Wednesday (January 12-13) at 8/7c on FOX. Ellen DeGeneres will be a judge this season.

I only watch American Idol when they do the auditions around the country and you get to see all the bad singers perform too. Now that is must see TV!!!
