FAQ

What makes a good post?

  • Entertainment news or gossip that is interesting to you will probably be of interest to others.
  • A synopsis of the news plus some commentary from you.
  • A link to the original news source so everyone can read it.
  • A picture or video is always a nice addition to a post.

Why wasn’t my post published?

  • The post hasn’t been reviewed by us and published yet. We check for new posts often, but it takes time to review them.
  • The news was already covered under a different post. Duplicate stories don’t always get published.
  • The post used profanity.
  • The post was poorly written. No capital letters, ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, many misspelled words, no punctuation, no paragraphs, etc.
  • The news definitely had a source, but the source wasn’t given.
  • The post wasn’t news or gossip.
  • The post covers news more than a couple days old. Unless there is an update to a story, old news isn’t topical.
  • The post was copied word for word from another site. Quoting small sections of an article is ok, but most of the post must be in your own words.

I have a blog or website with original news and gossip. Can I make a post about the news?

  • Yes. You can make a post about the news on your site and link to it as the source.
  • No. You can’t make a post about your site. Use the author profile to describe your site.
