Chris Brown is Behind Bars?
Chris Brown reported to his first day of hard labor that was court ordered. Chris can be seen raking weeds. Of course, he did take time out to wave to the fans. Chris had to wear an orange vest and to add to his own personal style, a wife beater t-shirt. When the day was over, Chris was allowed to go home.
I hope he got more than 1 day of “hard” labor.
I Don’t Remember – Chris Brown
Chris Brown, in an interview with Larry King, says that he can’t remember anything about the night he beat the crap out of Rihanna. Apparently Chris is in shock when he hears about it because that’s not who he is as a person.
Who else thinks Chris Brown is full of it? If he can’t remember beating up Rihanna, then I’m not going to remember anything either. Time to go kick my dog, key my neighbor’s car, and run with scissors. It’s ok, I won’t remember it.
Chris Brown receives sentencing in Rihanna assault charge
Tuesday Chris Brown was sentenced from where he pleaded guilty on assault charges against Rihanna.
Here is what he got:
* Formal felony probation for a period of 60 months
* 180 days of community labor
* He must complete a one-year anti-domestic violence program
* He must appear before the court every three months to give an update on his counseling and his community labor
Chris Brown must also receive permission to travel overseas and is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.
There is also a restraining order barring him from coming within 100 yards of Rihanna until Aug. 25, 2014. The only exception to this restraining order is if the two attend the same entertainment industry-related events. If this happens then he must stay at least 10 yards away.
The judge in the case wasn’t playing around. She warned brown,”"Any violation of this protective order is a violation of your probation. Even though you have probation…this is a felony and it comes with a sentence in state prison.”
What do you think? Think Chris was punished severely enough or should he have spent some time in jail. I remember seeing the pictures of Rihanna after the smack down, it wasn’t pretty.

Chris Brown apologizes to Rihanna
It’s been 4 weeks since Chris Brown pleaded guilty of assaulting his than girl friend Rihanna. He has now made a public apology to Rihanna. He states that he knows what he did was inexcusable. He deeply regrets is actions that day and wishes he could turn back time and not react the way he had. He is very sad and deeply ashamed of what he did.
I hope he is attending anger management classes.
Chris Brown Gets 5 Years Probation!
Chris Brown will receive 5 years probation for a felony assault charge. He will also have 180 days of doing community labor in Virginia. Rihanna did not have to testify.
Brown wore a grey striped suit and was escorted by 8 uniformed policemen and a bodyguard into the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center. Rihanna was there dressed in a black dress, wearing sunglasses and pearls.
Thank God a celebrity is finally not getting preferential treatment. They need to pay the price if they do a crime just like the rest of us.
Chris Brown loses court round!
Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos requested but was denied a postponement in his upcoming “make or break” preliminary hearing.
Geragos wanted to try postpone the case, claiming the leaked photo of Rihanna’s battered face would compromise his defense.
The California appeals court shot down Geragos request without even giving a reason. Maybe for once, someones celebrity status won’t get any special treatment and will be tried like us “regular” folks.
Rihanna to Testify Against Chris Brown
Rihanna to Testify Against Chris Brown in a hearing next month.
Here is someinformation on the situation from E! Online:
“The singer’s attorney, Donald Etra, told E! News that Rihanna will be called to testify at the June 22 preliminary hearing in Brown’s felony assault case.
“The judge advised me that there will be a subpoena for Rihanna as a witness at the preliminary hearing,” Etra said following a morning hearing. “She will definitely comply.”
This case is from an assault charge Rihanna filed against Chris.
Let’s hope he is found guilty of assaulting her. Domestic abuse is a serious problem and no one should get away with it I don’t care how famouse you are.
