Ellen DeGeneres is lending her famous face to VitaminWater Zero ads.

She told Just Jared this in a statement:

“I’m thrilled to be working with vitaminwater zero. It tastes great, it’s good for you and it has zero calories per serving. It does everything for your body except massage it. But that’s why I have armando.”

Just Jared has promo pictures of the Judges for the ninth season of American Idol.

The new season will have a two-night season premiere that will air Tuesday and Wednesday (January 12-13) at 8/7c on FOX. Ellen DeGeneres will be a judge this season.

I only watch American Idol when they do the auditions around the country and you get to see all the bad singers perform too. Now that is must see TV!!!

In Nashville, TN, some of the world’s largest recording studios are suing “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. The suit claims that the producers violated copyright laws by playing over 1,000 songs without the artists permission.
Many of the songs were played during Ellen’s dance sequence.
Scott Rowe, a spokesperson for the Television Productions, has stated that he had sent e-mails to the record labels for months trying to resolve this issue amicably. The suit does not specify the dollar amount for damages.

I have to side with the record labels. I always just assumed they would get permission before using a song on the show.

Yep, Ellen DeGeneres will be Paula Abdul’s replacement on “American Idol”. Paula released the following statement…

“AMERICAN IDOL is a fantastic show that offers an invaluable platform to young talent. Ellen DeGeneres is wildly funny and talented in her own right. I wish her and the show only the best of luck.”

In an interview earlier today with Ryan Seacrest, Ellen stated “she hoped Paula is ok with the idea”.

I have to say, I think I like the choice of replacement for Paula. Now, if only they could find a replacement for Kara.
