Katherine Heigl is a champion for animals.

Katherine’s foundation, Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, supports animal rescue efforts and offered $25,000 to fly 25 chihuahuas to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua of New Hampshire for adoption. The pups were in danger of being euthanized if they were not found a new place to go.

That is amazing. A huge animal lover myself, we have over 20 pets, I’m so happy Katherine stepped in and saved their lives.

Way to go Katherine! I love seeing celebrities using their money and fame for something good!!

Last week Katherine Heigl announced that she and her new hubby adopted a baby girl from Korea. Nancy Leigh is 10 months old and doing well. She goes by the name Naleigh.

What a cutie!

People Magazine has confirmed that Katherine Heigl and her husband have decided to adopt a baby girl from Korea. Katherine and her husband began the adoption process 6 months ago for the 10 month old Nayleigh. They will finally bring her home this week.

Good for them though I just don’t understood why these celebrities don’t adopt from America. There are so many needy children here. Maybe it’s the “thing” to adopt a child from a third world country.

Director of “Knocked Up” Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen are still reeling from what Katherine Heigl said about the movie being “sexist”. In a 2007 Vanity Fair interview, Katherine stated that the movie “Knocked-Up” painted the women as shrews and made the men look lovable. She also stated that it was hard for her to love the movie.
Seth Rogen states that he doesn’t see how her latest movie “The Ugly Truth” makes women seem any better. Director Judd Apatow says that maybe at the time she was doing many hours of interviews and she was getting tired of kissing everyone’s a** and let that remark slip.
Apatow and Rogen both say there was never any fights on the set and that Katherine improvised half of her lines. Apatow says he hasn’t spoken to her since.

Wasn’t that like the “movie” that made her more of a star? I think that if she feels so strongly about portraying women better than maybe she needs to pick better movies. It’s like she grabs up the quick and easy comedies that are usually guaranteed to be a hit. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler were forced to evacuate the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles becuase of a bomb threat.

The actors, along with 400 other guests, were forced to leave the hotel when a bomb threat was telephoned in.

The actors were at the hotel promoting their new movie, The Ugly Truth.

After an investigation of the hotel no bomb was found and the hotel was reopened 2 hours later.

Well I’m truly happy there wasn’t a bomb and everyone is out of danger.

Katherine Heigl has annocunced that she will be back for Grey’s Anatomy. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like T.R. Knight will be returning to the medical drama. In the season finale everything was left up in the air with Heigl’s character having brain surgery and Knight’s getting hit by a bus. Brain surgery is definitely the way to go. He looked unrecognizable after the accident.
