Rihanna has some new ink!!

Her newest tattoo says “Never a failure, always a lesson” and it’s written backwards so she can read it in the mirror.

This is what she told the tattoo artist:

‘It’s kind of my motto in life for everything.’ Instead of considering things to be mistakes, considering them lessons.”

I think it’s a cool idea and great motto!!!

Rihanna was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend

She performed two songs from her new album Rated R. They were Russian Roulette and Hard. You can check out those two performances here.

She also performed a hilarious skit with Shy Ronnie. It was pretty cool!!! You can check it out below.

The shoot is military themed. Rihanna said, “We got tanks, we got troops, helicopters, explosions, tight gear, lots of cute outfits, lots of bullets. Crazy!”

The 2009 American Music Awards is happening in L.A. tonight and the stars are all strutting their stuff on the red carpet.

Rihanna wore a floral Marchesa gown. I posted the picture because I think it’s one of the most interesting and coolest dresses I’ve seen in a while!!
